About

SolaVida is a grassroots non-profit founded in 2013 by Dan Quinlan. By aligning with other organizations, and supported by a wide group of volunteers, we get things done. Roam around on the site to see what we have been up to. Our Mission Statement is on the Home page.

We are grateful for the support of the individuals who have made the work possible – by donating their money, time, sweat and creativity. We are also thankful for the generous support of the UNH Sustainability Institute, the High Meadows Fund, the Grassroots Fund, the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, and others.

Dan is active in various capacities with multiple organizations working on climate change and clean energy. He has a particular interest around helping health care professionals use their voices to move society forward, and in projects that reduce the carbon footprint of the health care sector. His background is combination of scientific research, product development, organizational management, and consulting (finance and strategy) in for-profit and non-profit organizations. His LinkedIn profile can be found here.
