An enduring commitment to creating change in the world isn’t easy. With so many gigantic challenges swirling around, the potential for grief and burnout is high. We’ve partnered with ThirdAct and other advocacy groups in developing a monthly on-line gathering about all this. The approach is simple but powerful: (1) hear inspiring stories from wise people who wake up every day committed to taking on big societal challenges, and (2) hear how they navigate the personal ups-and-downs of their work.

Over the last twp years, the ‘H&J’ series has included guests from an ever-widening array of backgrounds and perspectives. To date, our guests have included activists, neuroscientists, philosophers, sociologists, filmmakers, authors, storytellers, a physician, a lawyer, and a banker.

All are welcome to join the Hope & Joy on-line events.
